Winter Team Tournament Sportsmanship Award Winners Named

The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association, in cooperation with Rural Mutual Insurance, has chosen the recipients of the team Sportsmanship Awards for the 2018 winter State Tournaments. The winners of the prestigious sportsmanship recognition are Valders in boys basketball, Marshall in girls basketball, D.C. Everest Co-op in girls hockey, Hudson in gymnastics and Ellsworth in team wrestling.

NFHS Gymnastics Rules Changes for 2018-19

New rules to clarify scoring procedures and redefine a balk are among the notable changes made by the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) Girls Gymnastics Rules Committee that will take effect for the 2018-19 season. 

Krueger Wins Four Gymnastics Individual Titles

The 2018 State Gymnastics Championships concluded with the crowning of individual champions in four events and an all-around competition in two divisions Saturday in Wisconsin Rapids.


Franklin Co-op, Whitefish Bay Win 3rd Straight Gymnastics Team Titles

A pair of perennial powers won their third straight team titles at the 2018 State Gymnastics Championships Friday at the Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln Field House.

State Gymnastics Championships Preview

The 48th Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Gymnastics State Championships will take place Friday and Saturday, March 2-3, at Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. The team championships will begin Friday at 2 p.m. The individual competition will begin at 11:15 a.m. Saturday. Ticket prices for the championships are $6 per session and are available at the door.

WIAA Board of Control June Meeting Release
