WIAA's Schulfer Inducted into Wisconsin Gymnastics Hall of Fame

Sheila Schulfer, an administrative assistant in the WIAA executive office, will be enshrined into the Wisconsin High School Gymnastics Association Hall of Fame at the organization’s awards banquet Sunday, April 9.

State Gymnastics Championships Preview

The 47th Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Gymnastics State Championships will take place Friday and Saturday, March 3-4, at Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. The team championships will begin Friday at 2 p.m. The individual competition will begin at 11:10 a.m. Saturday. Ticket prices for the championships are $6 per session and are available at the door.

Mount Horeb's Faust Named National Gymnastics Coach of the Year

Mount Horeb Gymnastics Coach Martha Faust and 21 other high school coaches from across the country have been selected as 2016 National Coaches of the Year by the National Federation of State High School Associations Coaches Association.

Kollross, Miehe, Kuhlmann Receive National Coaching Honors

Three high school coaches from Wisconsin and 22 high school coaches from across the country have been selected as 2015 National Coaches of the Year by the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) Coaches Association.

Receiving the honors from Wisconsin were Lucas Kollross of D.C. Everest in soccer, Arnie Miehe of Darlington in cross country and Karen Kuhlmann of Holmen in girls gymnastics.
