The WIAA began sponsoring boys lacrosse with a Tournament Series in 2024. Forty school programs offered the sport in its first season, including 39 eligible to compete for a State championship.
One division of tournament play culminated with a championship game conducted at the Bank of Sun Prairie Stadium at Ashley Field, Sun Prairie, Wis. Middleton was crowned champion of the first tournament with a 7-6 win over Neenah.
