10:30 a.m. -  Play will involve all first round matches 

Friday, October 15
8:30 a.m. - Coaches meeting and briefing session
9 a.m. - Competition continues through quarterfinals of singles and doubles

Saturday, October 16

8:30 a.m. Consolation Semifinals

Team Tennis Match Tie-Break

A match tie-break will be played in all remaining matches at the State Team Tennis Tournament once a team score reaches four (4) points.

Thursday's State Meet Order of Play

The order of play on Thursday at the State Individual Meet will be adjusted to allow Division 1 to finish, then begin Division 2 matches.

Spectator Limitations

On Courts – Only essential personnel are permitted on tennis courts. These are defined as players, coaches, athletic trainers, and officials. All others, i.e., spectators, managers, video people, media photographers, etc. are considered non- essential personnel and are to remain in their designated area.

·         Spectators – Spectators should practice social distancing (at least six (6) feet between different household units), accept personal responsibility for public health guidelines, and remain at  least six (6) feet from the players.

·         A maximum of ten (10) players per team and one (1) alternate.

·         A maximum of two (2) coaches.

·         Spectators will not be allowed to linger around any player areas.  They will be asked/directed to their vehicle until their players return to their vehicles following matches.

Outdoor Events

Each host is to provide the opportunity for all members of each team’s travel party to receive admissions for unlimited spectators. Social distancing must be maintained. 

If the host team is unable to meet the spectator parameters at their home facility, they may host at another facility. If no alternate location can be secured by the home team, the WIAA should be notified immediately and the event will be moved to an alternate location. 

Hosts shall consult with their local health department when determining whether or not they can meet the spectator requirements listed above.
