State Girls Basketball Tournament Preview

 The 43rd Annual Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Girls Basketball State Tournament will take place Thursday-Saturday, March 8-10, at the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wis. 

Ticket price for the tourney is $10 per session when purchased at the Resch Center. Tickets for the tournament will also be available for purchase online at the Ticket Star website:  www.ticketstaronline.com.  All-sessions, as well as individual session tickets are available for purchase online for $12 per session. WIAA Board of Control June Meeting Release

Edgewood (25-3) celebrates its first State title by dicarding Martin Luther 51-30 in the Division 3 championship game of the State Girls Basketball Tournament at the Resch Center in Green Bay Saturday afternoon.

Howards Grove Edges Aquinas to Win Div. 4 Title

Howards Grove (27-1) won the Division 4 championship in their second appearance in the State Girls Basketball Tournament Saturday afternoon with a 44-43 victory over previously undefeated Aquinas at the Resch Center in Green Bay.

Loyal Wins Division 5 State Girls Basketball Title

Loyal (25-4) won its first State title in its initial appearance in the Girls State Basketball Tournament with a 74-61 victory over the Milwaukee Academy of Science (23-5) in the Division 5 championship game Saturday at the Resch Center in Green Bay.
