WIAA, Packers announce September high school football officiating 'Crew of the Month'

The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association and Green Bay Packers have announced the selection of Steve Luedeman, Bill Haling, Travis Brown, Dale Konwinski and Cody McLean as the September high school football officiating "Crew of the Month."

The recognition is part of a joint initiative between the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) and the NFL to honor outstanding high school football officials across the country. The selected crew members were chosen for their demonstration of objectivity, fairness in rules implementation and commitment as officials.

Brookfield East, Shorewood Earn Girls Team Tennis Championships

MADISON, Wis. – Brookfield East won its second straight Division 1 championship, and Shorewood captured the Division title at the 2025 State Girls Team Tennis Tournament at Nielsen Tennis Center Saturday.

Girls Tennis Teams Contend for State Titles This Week

STEVENS POINT, Wis – The 32nd Annual Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Girls Team Tennis Tournament will be held Friday and Saturday, Oct. 24-25. The meet takes place at the Nielsen Tennis Stadium on the University of Wisconsin campus in Madison, Wis. Action will begin at 4 p.m. Friday and resume Saturday at 9 a.m.

MADISON, Wis. – Singles players and doubles teams won championships in two divisions at the 2025 State Girls Individual Tennis Tournament Saturday at Nielsen Tennis Stadium.

Girls Tennis Singles & Doubles Tandems Play for State Titles

STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The 55th Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Girls Individual Tennis Tournament will be held Thursday-Saturday, Oct. 16-18. The meet takes place at the Nielsen Tennis Stadium on the University of Wisconsin campus in Madison, Wis. Action will begin Thursday at 10:30 a.m. and will resume Friday at 9 a.m. with Saturday matches to begin at 8:30 a.m.
 

11-Player Football Playoff Qualifiers & Pairings Reveal Show Saturday

STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association will release the 11-player 2025 football playoff qualifying field and pairings during a one-hour live program on the WIAA State Tournament Network stations and streamed on the stations’ websites Saturday, Oct. 18.

State Girls Golf Championships Preview

STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The 54th Annual Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Girls State Golf Championships will be held Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 13-14, at the University Ridge Golf Course in Madison, Wis. Competition will begin at 8 a.m. on both days. Sunday practice tee time assignments are available on the Girls Golf Tournament homepage of the WIAA website.
