State Cross Country Champions Crowned

Crystal clear skies and crisp temperatures was the setting for the 2014 State Cross Country Meet at The Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., Saturday.

The start of the races were delayed one hour because of frost on the course after temperatures dipping into the teens in central Wisconsin overnight.

The 102nd running of the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Boys Cross Country Championships and the 42nd Annual Girls Cross Country Championships will take place Saturday, Nov. 1, at The Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. Ticket price for the meet is $6.

State Boys Soccer Tournament Preview

The 33rd Annual Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Boys Soccer Championships will take place Thursday-Saturday, Oct. 30-Nov. 1, 2014 at Time Warner Cable Stadium at Uihlein Soccer Park in Milwaukee, Wis. Ticket prices for the tournament are $8.

Arrowhead, University School Win Girls Team Tennis Titles

The 21st Annual State Girls Team Tennis Tournament concluded Saturday with Arrowhead winning the Division 1 championship and University School capturing the Division 2 crown.
