Board Approves Changes to Winter Sports Season Regulations

STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Board of Control approved limited use of the shot clock in basketball in 2026-27 and acted on other recommendations from the Winter Coaches Advisory Committees affecting season regulations and membership policies at its June meeting today.

Mel Dow Inducted into Wisconsin Chapter of National Wrestling Hall of Fame

STEVENS POINT, Wis. – Mel Dow, associate director of the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association, was one of nine individuals inducted into the Wisconsin chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame on Sunday, May 17, at Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells.

Three Programs Earn State Team Wrestling Titles, Kaukauna Wins Sixth Straight

 


LA CROSSE, Wis. – Kaukauna, Evansville and Aquinas earned championships at the 2026 State Team Wrestling Tournament Saturday at the La Crosse Center.

STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The 35th Annual Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association State Team Wrestling Tournament will take place Friday and Saturday, March 6-7. The tournament is being held for the first time at the La Crosse Center.

2026 Individual State Wrestling Tournament Preview

STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The 83rd Annual Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Individual Wrestling Tournament and the fifth Girls Individual Wrestling Tournament will be held in conjunction Thursday-Saturday, Feb. 26-28, at the Kohl Center on the campus of the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wis.
