State Summer Baseball Tournament Preview: Start Time Moved to 9:05 a.m.

The 52nd Annual Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Summer Baseball State Tournament will take place Friday, July 22, at Kapco Park on the campus of Concordia University in Mequon, Wis. Action will begin at 9:05 a.m. with the first of two semifinals. The start has been moved earlier than the scheduled 11:35 a.m. because of heat concerns. The championship game will begin at 6:05 p.m. Ticket prices for the tourney are $8 per session and are available only at the park.

Stevens Point vs. Pulaski in Suspended to Saturday at 9 a.m. at Waunakee

The Division 1 semifinal featuring Stevens Point vs. Pulaski has been suspended to Saturday, June 11. Play will resume at 9 a.m. at Waunakee High School/Middle School . Stevens Point leads 8-3 in the top of the sixth inning.

Spectators will be permitted without admission, and fans are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.

Div. 1 Watertown vs. Union Grove Semifinal Postponed to 8 a.m. Saturday

The Watertown vs. Union Grove Division 1 semifinal scheduled for Friday evening is postponed to Saturday at 8 a.m. at Goodman Diamond because of severe weather.

Gates will open at 7:15 a.m. Tickets purchased for the Friday evening session will be honored at tomorrow morning's Division 1 semifinal game.

Fans for the Division 4 championship game, scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, will be permitted entry into the stadium after the Division 1 semifinal game.
