About

About the #WhyIPlay, #WhyICoach, #WhyIOfficiate Campaign

We invite you to participate in our WIAA #WhyIPlay, #WhyICoach, #WhyIOfficiate social media campaign! Each week, outside of tournament season, we select a student-athlete, coach, or official to share their reason for being involved in high school athletics. It's a great way to celebrate your athletic accomplishments and passion, as well as spotlight your school/area, all while sharing the benefits of being involved in high school athletics!

Provide us with a short statement on WHY you are a part of high school sports. It can be about what sports have done for you in your life–on or off the court/field/course/track/pool–and the relationships you’ve formed, your personal growth, as well as the emotions and celebrations associated with participation...the possibilities are endless. We look forward to hearing from you!

Please fill out the appropriate form (Why I Play, Why I Coach, Why I Officiate).

If you have questions, please contact Megan Pollack at mpollack@wiaawi.org.
