Wisconsin-Based Trackwrestling Grows to National Prominence; Enters NFHS Network Agreement

The true success story of Trackwrestling began with its founder Justin Tritz, a native of Vesper, Wis., located a few miles outside of Wisconsin Rapids. His objective was to produce a system that would assist wrestling tournament managers to seed events. His vision quickly expanded to development of the system that has revolutionized the operation and management of wrestling meets and tournaments from start to finish.

WIAA Board of Control June Meeting Release

The Board of Control reviewed and approved a number of committee recommendations impacting winter sports, gave initial review and consideration of a newly conceived divisional placement plan for basketball, and engaged in robust membership-related discussions at its June meeting today.

Alternate Two-Piece Uniform Approved for High School Wrestling

An alternate two-piece uniform consisting of compression shorts or shorts designed for wrestling and a form-fitted compression shirt has been approved for the 2017-18 season in high school wrestling. Wrestlers will have the option of the new two-piece uniform or the traditional one-piece singlet.

Kaukauna, Ellsworth, Stratford Win State Wrestling Titles

Kaukauna, Ellsworth and Stratford won titles in their respective divisions at the 2017 State Team Wrestling Tournament at the UW Field House in Madison Saturday.

State Team Wrestling Tournament Preview

The 26th Annual Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association State Team Wrestling Tournament will take place Friday and Saturday, March 3-4. The tournament is held at the Field House on the University of Wisconsin campus in Madison, Wis. Ticket prices for the tourney are $13 for the Friday session and $8 for the Saturday sessions.
