Celebrating Return to Play During National H.S. Activities Month

STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The COVID-19 pandemic has caused everyone to hit the pause button on life. During the stoppage and forced time away from routines, many people have come to appreciate the important things in life – family, friends and faith among others.

Board Issues Additional Pandemic Accommodations at September Meeting

STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Board of Control approved several modifications of the membership’s rules and tournament procedures, as well as the revised sites and hosts of three fall State Tournament sites in addressing the ongoing challenges of navigating through the COVID-19 pandemic at its September meeting today.

COVID-19 Concerns to Alter State Tournament Plans in Madison

STEVENS POINT, Wis. –  The uncertainty of conducting culminating events and tournaments, and given the challenging situation with COVID-19 restrictions in Dane County, the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association and the University of Wisconsin-Madison announce WIAA tournaments will not be conducted at UW facilities this fall.

Schools Declare for Fall or Alternate Fall Season

STEVENS POINT, Wis. –  The 513 schools in the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association declared by yesterday’s deadline for either the traditional fall season or the alternate fall season to be held in the spring of 2021.

STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association is initiating a statewide social media campaign, #TeamUpToBeatCOVID, in efforts to enhance the likelihood of returning to school and school activities by following safe practices to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
