Kage Retires, Britz Hired as Administrative Assistant

STEVENS POINT, Wis. – Julie Kage, administrative coordinator for the executive director at the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association for the past 34 years, retired July 31, and Kristin Britz begins her position as administrative assistant for Executive Director Stephanie Hauser on Aug. 9.

WIAA to Conduct Administrative Assistant Position Search

The WIAA is seeking qualified candidates for the position of administrative assistant, who embrace the purpose & vision of the WIAA, desire to serve our diverse membership and move education-based athletics forward.

The WIAA is currently running a “No Late Fees” FLASH SALE window for any spring sports official who registers between February 15 - March 1 at 11:59 p.m. The cost to register is $35 plus $15 for each sport, which covers the cost of sending rules books. The $30 late fee normally charged to individuals renewing their registration outside of the annual re-licensing window from May 1-31, will be waived between the dates listed. New officials are not charged a late fee and can register at any time.

Conference Realignment Task Force Conducts Review of Remanded Plans

STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Conference Realignment Task Force Committee reviewed and voted Tuesday to not support the seven 11-player football-only plans that were remanded back to the committee by the Board of Control at its March 5 meeting.

Basketball Division Placements & Assignments Revised
