Winter State Tournament Sportsmanship Awards Announced

STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association, in cooperation with Rural Mutual Insurance, has chosen the recipients of the team Sportsmanship Awards for the 2023 winter State Tournaments.

 

Five Girls Basketball Tournament Champions Crowned

GREEN BAY, Wis. – The finals of the  2023 State Girls Basketball Tournament produced champions in five divisions Saturday at the Resch Center.

Jaenke Wins Second Straight 3-Point Challenge

GREEN BAY, Wis. – Emily Jaenke, a senior from Fox Valley Lutheran, won the 2023 girls 3-Point Challenge held Saturday morning at the Resch Center in conjunction with the State Girls Basketball Tournament, successfully defending the title she won last year.

O'Brien Inducted into Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame

STEVENS POINT, Wis. – Molly O’Brien, an administrative assistant with the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association, was enshrined into the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame during the induction ceremony in Wisconsin Dells Saturday, Sept. 24.

Five State Girls Basketball Champions Crowned

STEVENS POINT, Wis. –  The 2021 State Girls Basketball Tournament crowned five divisions of champions Thursday-Saturday, Feb. 25-27 with Divisions 2, 4 and 5 played at the La Crosse Center in La Crosse, Wis.  and Divisions 1 and 3 at the Menominee Nation Arena in Oshkosh, Wis.
