Loyal's Geiger Wins Inaugural 3-Point Contest

Riley Geiger, a sophomore from Loyal, won the inaugural boys’ 3-Point Challenge held Saturday at the Kohl Center in conjunction with the celebration of the 100th State Girls Basketball Tournament.

Germantown to Play for Fourth Straight Title

Three-time defending Division 1 champion Germantown (27-0) remained undefeated and will attempt to become only the second program in State Tournament history to win four consecutive titles following its 82-54 win over Madison East in its semifinal.

Stevens Point (26-1) advances to the Division 1 championship game for the first time since 1994 with a convincing 63-39 triumph over West Allis Central (14-13) in the semifinals.

Rice Lake Back in Div. 2 Title Game

Rice Lake (22-5) returns to the Division 2 championship game with some unfinished business to attend to following its 72-64 semifinal victory over Greendale.

Mount Horeb (22-5) pulled away in the fourth quarter to record a 65-53 win over West De Pere (20-7) in its Division 2 semifinal.

Brown Deer to Play Xavier in Division 3 Title Game

Defending champion Brown Deer (24-4) returns to the Division 3 title game following a 62-50 victory over Prescott (25-2) in the semifinal.

Xavier (24-3) overcame a six-point deficit in the final two minutes of the fourth quarter to move on to the championship final with a 70-69 win over East Troy in the Division 3 semifinals.

Dominican to Play for Fourth Straight Title

Dominican will attempt to become just the second program to win four consecutive State championships Saturday in its Division 4 match-up with Mineral Point.

The Knights displayed an awesome offensive arsenal to roll to a 93-54 victory over previously undefeated Regis in the Division 4 semifinal. 


100th State Boys Basketball Tournament Preview

The 100th Annual Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Boys Basketball State Tournament will take place Thursday-Saturday, March 19-21, at the Kohl Center on the campus of the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wis. 

Ticket prices for the tourney are $10 per session for all seating purchased at the Kohl Center. Ticket windows are available one hour prior to the start of any session. Online tickets are available online for $12. All online tickets are print at home or available at the Will-Call window.

Boys 3-Point Challenge Competitors

The first WIAA Boys 3-Point Challenge will be conducted on Saturday, March 21 - 9 a.m. at the Kohl Center in Madison  The field of contestants is now final.
