Molly Seidel, a former WIAA Cross Country and NCAA champion, will attend the State cross country spaghetti dinner social Friday from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at Wisconsin Rapids High School and will be available to sign autographs as a representative of Saucony’s Freedom Track Club.

Seidel, while attending University Lake School, ran to Division 3 State cross country titles from 2008-11. She also was a four-time track and field champion in the 1,600- and 3,200-meter runs.

After graduation, she attended the University of Notre Dame, where she ran to the NCAA championship in the 10,000 run in 2015, and to the 3000- and 5000-meter runs in 2016.

She was named to the United State Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-America team in 2015 and 2016, and was a CoSIDA Academic All-American in 2016.

Seidel won numerous championships in the Atlantic Coast Conference and was presented with the Mary Garber Award as the top female athlete in the ACC in 2016.

She is currently running professionally for the Saucony Freedom Track Club.
