STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association will release the 2026 Girls Basketball Tournament Series seeds and pairings and the State Boys Individual Wrestling Tournament brackets during two, live one-hour programs on WIAA State Television Network stations and websites Sunday, Feb. 15.
The girls basketball tournament series bracket reveal will be aired live at 10 a.m. on WKOW 27.2 in Madison, WAOW 9.2 in Wausau, WXOW 19.2 in La Crosse and WQOW 18.2 in Eau Claire, WCFW CW14 in Green Bay and My24 EVTV 24.1 in Milwaukee.
Karl Winter and Keegan Hewitt will serve as the hosts of the show, which will feature the announcement and first-round matchups for five divisions of the Tournament Series. They will be joined by Norbert Durst and Deysha Smith Jenkins for analysis.
There are 459 teams entering the post-season tournament that will culminate with the State Girls Basketball Tournament Thursday-Saturday, March 12-14 at the Resch Center in Green Bay, which will be aired and streamed live in its entirety on WIAA State Television Network stations and their websites.
Complete brackets with seeded teams and the first-round regional pairings are scheduled to be available on the WIAA website immediately following the live announcement of the bracket pairings.
The State Boys Individual Wrestling Tournament bracket reveal show will be aired live at 11 a.m. on the same WIAA State Television Network Stations.
Winter and Hewitt will serve as the hosts of the show, which will feature the announcement and first-round matchups for 14 weight classes in three boys divisions of the State Individual Wrestling Tournament. Joe Miller and Teague Fenwick will provide analysis.
There are 588 boy qualifiers entering the State Individual Wrestling Tournament scheduled for Thursday-Saturday, Feb. 26-Feb. 28 at the Kohl Center in Madison. It will be the 83rd annual boys tournament. The finals of the Individual Wrestling Tournament will be aired live on the WIAA State Television Network channels Saturday, Feb. 28 with programming to begin at 5 p.m.
Complete individual wrestling brackets with the first-round pairings are scheduled to be available on the WIAA website and on USABracketing.com following the live announcement of the brackets.
The bracket reveal shows for the boys basketball tournament series will be held Sunday, Feb. 22 on the WIAA State Television Network stations at 11 a.m., and the State Girls Individual Wrestling Tournament and the Team State Tournament will be streamed live on the Network Stations websites and on WrestleWI.com at noon.
The WIAA, as defined by its Constitution, is a private, voluntary, unincorporated, and nonprofit organization. The membership oversees interscholastic athletic programs for 516 senior high schools and 36 junior high/middle level schools in its membership.
