Member schools that may be impacted by a realignment application are encouraged to submit reactions to the requests via the prescribed form by Dec. 8.

The Conference Realignment Task Force will convene on Dec. 8 to review, prioritize and begin preliminary realignment solutions. On Dec. 9, all member schools will be notified with the results of the review.

The Task Force will meet on Jan. 6, 2021, to hear appeals from schools that had their requests denied and receive input from member schools impacted by the results of the review. The committee will modify and finalize solutions to submit to the Board of Control for consideration and communicate those modifications and solutions to the membership. Realignment plans rejected by the Task Force may appeal directly to the Board on Jan. 27.

The realignment solutions will be introduced, reviewed and determined by the Board of Control on March 5. A complete timeline and process for conference realignment consideration can be found on the Conference Realignment web page.
