Schadewalt Wins Girls 3-Point Challenge

GREEN BAY, Wis. – Lindsey Schadewalt, a senior from New Glarus, won the 2024 girls 3-Point Challenge held Saturday morning at the Resch Center in conjunction with the State Girls Basketball Tournament.

Schadewalt, representing Division 4, was one of 10 participants in the 3-Point Challenge, which was held for the ninth time. She scored a final-round record of 22 points to win the contest. Senior Sarah Aleknavicius of Grafton was second with 17 points in the final round, and senior Kacy Eggebrecht, Phillips was third with 15 points in the final round.

Schadewalt scored 20 points in each of the first two rounds. Aleknavicius opened with 18 points and followed with an 18 in the semifinals. Eggebrecht also advanced to the semifinals with scores of 19 and 18 in the first two rounds, respectively.
 

Other participants were junior Reece Grimm of Pittsville, senior Madolyn Haffner of Gresham, senior Lucia Jensen of Brookfield Academy, junior Natalie Mueller of Homestead, senior Addison Pytleski of Green Bay Southwest, junior Tannah Radloff of Prairie du Chien and junior Rainey Welson of Hortonville.
