In the final Division 3 semifinal and last game of the 2nd day of the tournament, the Mount Horeb Vikings eliminate the Amery Warriors 5-1. Amery's Galen Coy puts the first goal on the board and his teams only goal of the game in the 29th minute on a penalty kick Mount Horeb began their scoring streak in the 43rd minute on a goal from Jaden Neumann with the assist coming from Jacob Culbertson. Neumann gets his 2nd goal in the 50th minute with the assist going to Kyler Donovan. Donovan puts one in the net in the 55th minute, unassisted. Neumann gets his hat trick in the 61st minute on a penalty kick and his 4th goal in the 66th minute with that assist coming from Donovan. In the first Division 3 matchup, Delavan-Darien moves on with a 2-0 overtime win over Plymouth. Scoring in the overtime period for Delavan-Darien in the 102nd minute was Jason Cano, unassisted and Zeus Huerta in the 106th minute with the assists credited to Pablo Martinez and Cano. The second Division 4 semifinal matchup had the Sturgeon Bay Clippers up against the Kohler Blue Bombers. The Clippers are advancing to the championship with a 1-0 victory. The only goal of the game came from Sturgeon Bay's Carson Dvorak in the 36th minute with the assist going to CJ Fairchild. Saves for Collin Adams of Kohler 5 and for Trent Maas of Sturgeon Bay 4.
The second day of the championships started with the Division 4 semifinal between The Prairie School Hawks and McDonell Central Catholic/Regis Saints. The Hawks are advancing to the championship with a 5-1 win. In the 35th minute JD Dreifuerst puts the first goal on the board with a lunging header from on the ground for the Hawks, assisted by Gabe Perez. Koda Fletcher from The Prairie School scores in the 37th minute with the assist credited to Nolan Wolf. Wolf gets the next two goals for the Hawks in the 47th and 66th minute respectively, Fletcher gets the assist for both. The only goal for McDonell Catholic/Regis is credit as an own goal in the 69th minute. The final goal of the game comes from Jason Frosch, assist from Tommy Bode. In Division 2 play Whitefish Bay shuts out New Richmond 5-0 in the opening game of the 2017 championships. The first goal of the game came in the 12th minute from Evan Kortebein, assist from Mario Carini. In the 21st minute Matthew Comiskey puts the 2nd goal in the net for the Blue Dukes with that assist coming from Jackson Dryden. Dryden gets his first goal of the game in the 31st minute, assists from Jimmy Zebell and Comiskey. Jeremy Haddock gets an unassisted goal in the 74th minute. Dryden finds the net for his second goal in the 74th minute off a penalty kick. Saves for Blake Getschel 6 and Ryan Landt 1 for New Richmond. Saves for Elian Haddock of Whitefish Bay 2.
The second Division 2 semifinal between the Oregon Panthers and the Waukesha West Wolverines ended in a 2-2 tie after 110 minutes of play. Oregon advances to the championship by winning the shootout 4-3. Oregon's Zach Pasley scored the first goal of the game in the 38th minute with the assist credited to Carter Hendrickson. Waukesha West does not get on the board until the 59th minute with an unassisted goal from Erich Vaughan. The first overtime period has Pasley scoring the go-ahead goal with the assist coming from Nick Borden. The Wolverines tying goal comes from Aric Booth, unassisted in the 105th minute. In Division 1 action Marquette University remains in contention for their 4th State title in a row after defeating Madison West 2-1 in overtime. Kade Coakley of the Marquette Hilltoppers scores the first goal of the game in the 23rd minute with the assist given to Thomas Bruneau. Paolo Gratto of Madison West scores the equalizer in the 51st minute, assist coming from Ian Shi. In the 99th minute Nicholas Cheung, assists by Bruneau and Osvaldo Arellano, scores the winning goal. The second game in the Division 1 semifinals has the Arrowhead Warhawks coming out the victor with a 4-2 win over the Eau Claire Memorial Old Abes. Scoring the first goal of the game is credited to Jake Stemper, unassisted, in the 2nd minute. In the 25th minute Luke Rosenberger of Eau Claire Memorial puts his team on the board with his unassisted goal. Matt Martinez of Eau Claire Memorial puts his team in the lead with a goal in the 42nd minute. Arrowhead's Chris Kreitlow ties the game in the 53rd minute with his first goal of the game, assisted by Jack Stemper. The Warhawks score again in the 79th minute with that goal credited to Kyle Cissne, unassisted. The final goal of the game goes to Arrowhead's Luke Dubnicka, with the assist to Stemper.
