Seeking individual to fill Ticketing Coordinator/Business Operations Assistant position.
Position Purpose: Coordinate tournament ticket operations and assist Controller

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties of this position include the following. Employees in this position perform some or all of the following tasks. Other duties may be assigned.
• State tournament ticketing.
• Yearly inventory of all office equipment.
• Prepare investment schedule for auditors.
• Compile tournament travel expenses for reimbursements to schools.
• Quarterly investment reports for Board of Control.
• Compile and organize data as assigned.
• Handle confidential records and inquiries.
• Perform general office duties including answering multi-line phones, directing calls, and taking messages as appropriate; typing; proofing copy; copying; filing; and handling incoming and outgoing mail.
• Independently answer routine questions from athletic directors, coaches, officials, media and the public.
• Special projects as assigned.
• Front desk coverage as assigned.
• Professionally represent the WIAA in interactions with athletic directors, coaches, officials and general public.
• Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
Education and/or Experience: Minimum of a high school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) and at least five years related experience in bookkeeping, general clerical and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Technical college or college degree preferred. Prior experience working in an office setting strongly preferred.
Interpersonal Skills: Works well with others from diverse background. Focuses on maintaining a positive and cooperative demeanor; keeping emotions under control; open to others’ ideas and contributing to building a positive team spirit. Poise, ability to prioritize work, strong organizational skills and efficient time management skills are all key components to successfully meeting the requirements of this position.
Computer Skills: Highly proficient in Excel and Word. Willingness to learn other software products utilized within the office.
Language Skills: Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in written form.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to recognize several likely causes of events, analyze relationships among several parts of a problem or situation and then formulate a response.
Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to appropriately communicate with staff. Ability to exercise good judgment and work in an environment with constant interruptions and pressure. Athletic background and/or high interest in athletics extremely beneficial.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical requirements indicated below are examples of the physical aspects that this position classification must perform in carrying out essential job functions.
Persons performing service in this position classification will exert ten to twenty pounds of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. This type of work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods.
Perceiving the nature of sound, near and far vision, depth perception, providing oral information, the manual dexterity to operate business related equipment, handle and work with various materials and objects are important aspects of this job.
