Courtney Witting of Green Bay East scored the first goal of the contest in the 3rd minute of the first period, followed in the 8th minute by a goal from Onalaska's Chazlyn Anderson.  Green Bay East received two additional goals in the first period from Paige Goodwin and Kelsey Rafferty.  Johanna Cano of Green Bay East was credited for the only goal from either team late in the second period.  The third period started out with a goal from Kelsey Rafferty of Green Bay East which was then followed by 3 goals from Onalaska coming from Kianna Kalmes, Jacyn Reeves and Theresa Knutson.  Green Bay East's final goal of the contest came from Rafferty.  With 30 seconds left in the contest Reeves put another one in the net for Onalaska giving a final score of 6-5.  Assists for the contest for Green Bay East came from Rafferty (2), Courtney Wittig (3) and Tanya Niemi.  Onalaska assists were from Knutson (2), Morgan Gargaro, Santana Hanson and Anderson (2).  Saves for Lindsey Strainis of Green Bay East 26 and for Jeanalyn Schindler of Onalaska 30.  Green Bay East wins the title in their 2nd trip to State.
