Delavan-Darien wins the gold ball after defeating Mount Horeb 2-1 in the Division 3 Boys Soccer Final.  Julien Riviera of the Delavan-Darien Comets scored in the 8th minute after he cleaned up a loose ball in the box off a corner kick.  The Comets scored again in the 13th minute, this time from Gerardo Rodriguez, unassisted.  The Mount Horeb Vikings get on the board in the 39th minute on an unassisted goal from Ben Stephens.  Ricardo Huerta had 6 saves for the Comets and Max Handrich had 4 for the Vikings.  This is Delavan-Darien’s 3rd State championship.
