The 2012 WIAA Girl's Individual State Championships are set to begin this afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at Nielsen Tennis Stadium on the University of Wisconsin--Madison campus.

Division 1 singles will get the event started, followed by Division 1 doubles at about 3:00 p.m.  Division 2 singles gets underway at approximately 6:30 p.m. and D2 doubles follows at about 8:30 p.m.

 All matches today are first round matches.  Second round play begins at 8:30 a.m. on Friday. Consolation matches begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday while Semi-Final singles matches start at 9:00 a.m. and Semi-Final doubles matches begin at 9:30 a.m.  Championship matches will follow the conclusion of the Semi-Final matches, normally around 12:00 noon.

Tickets for the Championships are $6 at the door.
