Edgewood, the winner of the past three Division 2 team championships, is in position to win its fourth straight title after shooting a four-player score of 320 on the opening day of competition at the Arbor/Lakes Course at Trappers Turn Golf Club. That’s four strokes better than Lakeland, which is second at 324. University School of Milwaukee is third, seven strokes back at 327.

Ty Kretz of Marinette, who placed tied for third in 2019, sits atop the leaderboard in Division 2 with two other challengers for the crown with a round of 75. Ethan Arndt of Edgewood and Trent Meyer of Northwestern also finished at +3 through 18 holes Monday.

Kohler is the team leader in Division 3 with a four-player score of 326 following the first round of competition at the Arbor/Lakes Course at Trappers Turn Golf Club. Durand is in second place, 15 strokes back at 341, and Racine Lutheran is third with a first-day score of 349.
