our teams in Division 1 advanced to Friday’s semifinals with wins in their quarterfinals at the WIAA Girls Volleyball State Tournament at the Resch Center in Green Bay Thursday.

The 2016 Girls Volleyball Tournament Series brackets in all four divisions have been posted.

The State Girls Volleyball Tournament is scheduled for Nov. 3-5 at the Resch Center in Green Bay.

The finals of the State Girls Volleyball Tournament will have a familiar look to it as the champions of all four divisions return to defend their title Saturday after winning in the semifinals Friday at the Resch Center in Green Bay. 

It’s the first time in tournament history that the previous year’s champion in each division return to the championship final.

The 43rd Annual Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Girls Volleyball State Tournament will take place Thursday-Saturday, Nov. 5-7, at the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wis. The single-elimination tournament features matches with a best-of-five-sets, rally-scoring format. Eight teams will play for the State title in Division 1, with four teams still in contention for the State crown in Divisions 2, 3 and 4. Below is the schedule and match-ups for the tournament.
