Edgewood Wins 5th Straight Division 2 Girls Swimming & Diving Title

MADISON, Wis. – Edgewood won its fifth straight Division 2 team title by compiling 290 points at the 2019 State Girls Swimming and Diving Championships held Friday at the UW Natatorium.

Six Swimming & Diving Rules Changes Approved by NFHS

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Effective with the 2019-20 high school season, a legal finish now requires the competitor to contact either the touchpad or the finish end coinciding with the individual stroke of the race; therefore, swimmers can legally complete a race by touching the finish end wall, regardless of whether the touchpad is activated.

Middleton, Edgewood Win Girls Swimming & Diving Team Titles

Middleton won the Division 1 team title for the third straight season at the State Girls Swimming and Diving Championships Saturday at the UW Natatorium in Madison, Wis. Edgewood reigns atop Division 2 for the fourth straight year, winning the State Girls Swimming and Diving title with 328.5 points.

The 49th Annual Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Girls Swimming and Diving Championships will be held Friday and Saturday, Nov. 9-10, at the Natatorium on the campus of the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wis. Ticket prices for the meet are $6 and $1 for children 6-years old and under.

NFHS Swimming/Diving Rules Changes Address Event Clarity, Definition, Flexibility

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — In an effort to assist meet personnel operating high school swimming and diving meets, the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) Board of Directors approved the Swimming and Diving Rules Committee's reorganization of Rule 1 and Rule 5.

State Boys Swimming & Diving Championships Preview

The 94th Annual Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Boys Swimming and Diving Championships will be held Friday and Saturday, Feb. 16-17, at the Natatorium on the campus of the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wis. Ticket prices for the meet are $6 and are sold only at the UW Natatorium each day of the competition.
