October is High School Activities Month

The annual celebration of National High School Activities Month is underway for the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association and the 50 other state high school associations that are members of the National Federation of State High School Associations.

STEVENS POINT, WIS. – Ensure the safety of our upcoming sports seasons and help stop the spread of COVID-19 and other viral infections by continuing to wash your hands frequently, avoid touching your face, cover your sneeze and cough, disinfect commonly used surfaces and stay home if you are sick. For fall sports, all fully vaccinated, symptom-free individuals are exempt from quarantine.

 

 

Mel Dow Named to Associate Director Post at WIAA

STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association announced the hiring of Mel Dow as an associate director for the association today. He will fill the position vacated by Deputy Director Wade Labecki, whose retirement becomes effective Sept. 1.
