State Individual Wrestling Tournament Produces Trio of Four-Time Champs

MADISON, Wis. – The 81st Annual State Individual Wrestling Tournament produced 42 boys’ champions and 12 girls’ champions Saturday, including three wrestlers to claim the fourth championship of their high school careers.

BLACK HISTORY MONTH | ft. Johnny Watts

John "Johnny" Watts was a pioneer for black athletes in Wisconsin, starring on an otherwise all-white basketball team in the early 1930s. He led the Beloit Purple to three consecutive WIAA Basketball State Titles, the most memorable of which was during his junior year.
