State Spring Baseball Tournament Preview

THE CHAMPIONSHIPS:  The 67th Annual Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Spring Baseball State Tournament will take place Tuesday-Thursday, June 17-19, at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium in Grand Chute, Wis. Ticket prices for the tourney are $8 per session and $14 for an all-day admission ticket. 2014 Spring Baseball Brackets Complete

The brackets are complete in all WIAA Spring Baseball divisions.  Tournament games begin Tuesday, June 3rd in all divisions. The State Championships are Tuesday-Thursday, June 17-19, 2014, at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium, Grand Chute, Wis.

2014 NFHS Baseball Rule Changes

Batter Interference with Catcher: Changes to high school baseball rules will include an additional example of how a batter can interfere with the catcher’s ability to field or throw.

Four Spring Baseball Champions Crowned

Sun Prairie (25-2) won its second consecutive Division 1 championship with a 5-4 win over Stevens Point (27-5) in eight innings. It is the Cardinals seventh title overall to tie Appleton West with the most titles among all schools.
