2014 NFHS Baseball Rule Changes

Batter Interference with Catcher: Changes to high school baseball rules will include an additional example of how a batter can interfere with the catcher’s ability to field or throw.

Sun Prairie (25-2) won its second consecutive Division 1 championship with a 5-4 win over Stevens Point (27-5) in eight innings. It is the Cardinals seventh title overall to tie Appleton West with the most titles among all schools.

State Spring Baseball Tournament Preview

The 66th Annual Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Spring Baseball State Tournament will take place Tuesday-Thursday, June 11-13, at Time Warner Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium in Grand Chute, Wis. Ticket prices for the tourney are $8 per session and $14 for an all-day admission ticket.
