Baseball Crowns Four Champs; Sun Prairie Wins Third Straight

Sun Prairie (27-5) won the Division 1 State championship for the third consecutive season by downing Kimberly (21-8) 5-2 in title game Thursday at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium in Grand Chute, Wis.

The Cardinals become just the second program to win three striaight championships joining Nekoosa, which won Class B titles in 1980-82.

THE CHAMPIONSHIPS: The 67th Annual Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Spring Baseball State Tournament will take place Tuesday-Thursday, June 17-19, at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium in Grand Chute, Wis. Ticket prices for the tourney are $8 per session and $14 for an all-day admission ticket.
