Jake Beschta assumed his role on the executive staff as an assistant director on June 5, 2025.

Beschta’s responsibilities include the administration and tournament planning for the sports of 11-player football, boys golf, boys and girls hockey, and softball. Additional responsibilities include directing the scholar-athlete program and the New AD Workshop, as well as serving as staff liaison for the Calendar & Contact Ad Hoc Committee.

Prior to joining the WIAA, Beschta served as the co-chair of the WIAA Calendar and Contact Ad-Hoc Committee, and he was a WIAA-licensed basketball official at the master level.

Beschta served as high school principal in the Denmark School District from 2020-25 and in the same position at Oconto Falls High School from 2018-2020. For three years from 2015-18, he was the athletic director and associate principal at Sheboygan Falls High School.

Other educational experiences include teaching middle school in the Coleman School District from 2007-15.  During that span, he served as football junior varsity head coach and varsity assistant coach, girls basketball junior varsity head and varsity assistant coach and as a high school track & field coach.

Other education-related service includes a position as secretary and vice president of the Northeast Wisconsin Conference Principals Committee.

Beschta received a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2007. He earned a Master of Science degree in administrative leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2015.
