State Boys Hockey Semifinal Action

Wausau West will meet Superior in the championship after beating Madison Memorial 6-3 in the semifinal. Wausau West scored three unanswered goals in the first two periods. Madison Memorial came out strong in the third period but it wasn't enough to shut down the Warriors who scored three more goals in the third period. West's shot total was 30 and Memorial's was 24.
Superior is advancing to the championship game after defeating Cedarburg with a score of 3-0. Scoring for Superior in the first period was Daniel Burger, assisted by Anthony Bronson. The third period had two empty nets scores for Superior, one from Jesse Polson and the other Matt Hinaus. Superior outshot Cedarburg 27-12.
