Girls State Hockey Semifinal Action

The University School Co-op advances to Saturday's final with a 6-2 win over Onalaska Co-op in the State girls hockey semifinal. Sloan Sullivan netted a pair of goals with three assists, and Nicole Unsworth scored a goal and tied State Girls Hockey Tournament record for shots on goal in a game with 15. She also assisted on two goals
USM outshot the Hilltoppers 46-12 to control the game. The Wildcats were efficient on the power play, scoring on three of their four opportunities.
Hayward Co-op will face University School Co-op in the finals on Saturday, March 7 for the 2015 State Girls Hockey title after defeating D.C. Everest Co-op 1-0. The only goal of the game came from Harley Kinney with an assist from Jenna Curtis at :31 in the second period. Hayward outshot D.C. Everest 29-15.
