Franklin/Muskego/Oak Creek/Whitnall & Whitefish Bay Win Gymnastics Team Titles

The Franklin/Muskego/Oak Creek/Whitnall co-op captured the Division 1 team title, and Whitefish Bay was crowned as the Division 2 champion at the 46th State Gymnastics Championships in Wisconsin Rapids Friday.
Franklin/Muskego/Oak Creek/Whitnall compiled a team score of 149.3167 to win its fifth title in the last six seasons. The Kenosha Bradford/Indian Trail/Tremper/Westosha Central co-op placed second with a score of 147.6000. Arrowhead, which claimed the title last season, finished third with a score of 144.2667.
Whitefish Bay is the team champion in Division 2 for the fourth time in the past six seasons. The Blue Dukes scored a four-event team total of 140.5667. River Falls placed second with a total of 135.8833, and 2015 champion Mount Horeb finished third with a score of 135.5167.
The State Individual Gymnastics Championships will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday.
