Hudson’s Sam Johnson is credited with the only goal in the first period at 4:01. His assists came from George Nuutinen and Jack Flattum.
The Appleton East Co-op gets on the board in the second period with an unassisted goal from Trenton Bliss.
Third period action has Appleton’s Matthew Gruber putting a shot in the net at 4:13 with the assist being credited to Nathan Zilisch.
Saves for Dylan Phinney of Appleton East 20 and for Anthony Howard of Hudson 30.
Appleton East Co-op wins the 2016 State Champpionship 2-1 over Hudson.
