There are medical professionals selected from throughout the State of Wisconsin serving on this committee. They are appointed by WIAA staff and approved by the Board of Control. These professionals have strong backgrounds in providing medical services to high school athletes. They meet annually and make recommendations to the WIAA in areas dealing with health and safety matters. A Registered Dietician/Sport Nutritionist, Licensed Athletic Trainer and DHS representative serve in a liaison role. Emeritus members will be appointed by the committee chair as deemed necessary.
