Overview

The 2018 WIAA State Summer Baseball tournament will be played Friday, July 20 at Kapco Park in Mequon. Kapco Park is located on the campus of Concordia University.  The WIAA began sponsoring a tournament program in summer  baseball in 1965. There are 50 schools sponsoring a summer baseball program for 2018 which will be the last WIAA State Summer Tournament.

The 2018 WIAA State Spring Baseball tournament will be played at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium in Grand Chute Tuesday-Thursday, June 12-14. The WIAA began sponsoring a tournament program in spring  baseball in 1948.  There are 391 teams in the boys spring baseball tournament program for 2018.  There are 96 teams in Division 1 this year, 98 teams in Division 2, 98 teams in Division 3 and 99 teams in Division 4. 

 

Tickets

Tickets are $8 for each session (two games in session one) and are sold only at the Kapco ticket window during the State Tournament.  There is no advance sale.  Tickets will go on sale one hour prior to the start of the first game of a given session. Credit cards are not accepted and a cash machine is available once inside the stadium.  Your ticket, which will not be refunded if a rain delay occurs, is a raincheck.

Parking Information

Parking is available on site for free. 

Prohibited Items

Food or beverages of any kind.
Noisemakers (including Thunderstix).
Face paint/body paint.
Confetti
Laser pens
No alcohol or tobacco products are permitted on the stadium grounds or in the parking lot area.

Signs & Banners

Temporary banners are allowed, with some restrictions. Banners and signs must be hand held and stationary. These banners may NOT have offensive language, be used to disrupt players or officials, interfere with spectators’ view, used in an inappropriate manner or be carried around the facility during an event. Banners may not be hung from balconies, ceilings, etc.  At outdoor tournament events, banners may be displayed and/or hung.

 

Drones:
Piloting drones over Kapco Park or the surrounding parking lots is NOT PERMITTED unless authorized in advance by the WIAA.

Animals:
For the safety and comfort of all our visitors, animals are not permitted in Kapco Park. Guide, signal or service dogs (as defined by law) are allowed in Kapco Park. All sanitary needs for animals are the responsibility of the customer.
