Board Approves Volleyball Tourney Format, Student Leadership Initiative

STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Board of Control authorized the Tournament Series format to accommodate a fifth division of girls volleyball in 2024 and approved plans for a student leadership program at its January meeting today.

Task Force Conducts Review of Denied & Modified Conference Realignment Plans

STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Conference Realignment Task Force convened Thursday to conduct appeals for requests that were denied in December in addition to providing a hearing and configuring plans that were modified from their original proposals.

The 2023 Area Meetings unveiled many topics of membership interest and helped determine the course of discussion and action over the next several months. The assembly’s collective responses indicated Name, Image, Likeness (NIL) will be addressed, maybe as soon as the Annual Meeting in April.
