NFHS Releases Football Rule Changes

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – A new rules exception that allows a passer to intentionally throw an incomplete forward pass for the purpose of conserving yardage, and the redefining of the term “chop block” are the two most notable rules changes coming to high school football for the 2022 season.

Boys Basketball Tournament Series Statement

In recent days, during the boys’ basketball tournament series, decisions made by WIAA licensed officials have come under scrutiny. In fact, in one case, a temporary restraining order was put into place by the court, preventing the WIAA from applying the rules set forth by the 516 schools in our membership.

STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The WIAA has been informed by the court that the temporary restraining order request by St. Thomas More to restore participation in the 2022 boys basketball Tournament Series has been granted and has deemed all St. Thomas More players eligible for this game.

Board Advances Three Constitutional Amendments; Approves Two Conference Realignment Plans

STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Board of Control voted to advance three Constitutional amendments to the Annual Meeting in April and approved two conference realignment plans at its March meeting today.
