The 100th Anniversary of the State Cross Country Meet will be run Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012 at the The Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids.
The WIAA will be celebrating this event with several special events including an Anniversary Dinner (traditional pasta dinner for athletes and coaches) on Friday, Oct. 26, which will feature a short video highlighting the storied history of the meet and introductions of distinguished past champions.
These special guests will also attend Saturday’s championship races and assist with the presentation of awards.
More details on the 100th Anniversary celebration will be released at a later date.
