Cross Country - Nonschool Running Events
It is the philosophy of this Association that a student owes loyalty and allegiance to the school and team of which he/she is a member during the season of a given sport.  A student becomes ineligible in a sport for the remainder of the season for competing in nonschool games or contest in the same sport during the season of practice and competition.  During the cross country season athletes would be prohibited from competing in road races, fun runs, charity runs, the running portion of a triathlon, marathons, and all other running related nonschool events.  There are numerous ways to be involved in these events; helping with registration, course monitor, providing refreshments, etc.  Cross Country athletes may walk in nonschool events during the season.
